Friday, 19th January
- Check-in and dinner before practice.
- 18:30-20:00 Welcome, program overview, and classification practice on the tatami at Nikula Hall.
!!!Note! All participants, athletes, and coaches must participate in classification => The purpose of classification is to create safe and evenly matched pools for the competition. The classification practice also serves as a training session for coaches, as they will receive instructions on the EJU (European Judo Union) competition rules for the first competitions in 2024. The rules are still evolving, and changes may occur during the year. Therefore, it is essential for coaches to participate in all domestic parajudo events in 2024!!!
- 20:00-21:00 Coach meeting for Class 2 Selection of head coaches for the next Special Olympics season 2024 domestic competitions 2024 international competitions 2024 camps and other events
Saturday, 20th January
- 9:00-9:30 Group warm-up (on the tatami/led by head coaches)
- 9:30-14:00 Competition
!!!The competition will follow the rules of the European Judo Union (EJU) adapted judo. Finland’s leading parajudo referee Jouni Kähärä and head coach Tuula Holtti will review EJU rules during the competition for both referees and coaches!!!
